Tee it up on an Individual Stroke Play TOUR for a Season Long Prize Purse & a Shot at $1,000,000

The Minnesota Mini TOUR is your chance to see how your game stacks up (Gross & Net) againts other local golfers for the chance to compete for a year long prize purse up to $5,000 and a shot at $1,000,000 in the year end TOUR Champoionship.

How’s It Work?

  • Open to all golfers with an active GHIN handicap of 19.9 or less.

  • Play each of the 12 TOUR courses (see below for list) ANYTIME between May 1 and September 1. You have 16 weeks to complete the 12 rounds. You can play the courses in any order throughout the season.

  • All hosting courses are Public Country Club participating courses so PCC members may use their PCC membership to play your round. Non-PCC members just pay the normal public rate green fee.

  • Play any course any time between May 1 and September 1 and post your scores via our LIVE scoring app.

  • Complies with USGA rules for Amateur status as year end payouts are paid as VISA gift cards.

  • Online Leaderboards allow TOUR members to view weekly results.

  • The TOUR season begins on May 1st and continues through September 1st with the TOUR Championship held on Saturday, October 5th. You may join the TOUR anytime, you just need to complete the 12 rounds by September 1.

  • You do not need to play with another TOUR member for rounds - play when you can, post your scores, and see how you stack up during the season.

  • Top 5 Gross and Net TOUR finishers qualify to play in the Year End TOUR Championship to go head to head for 1st thru 5th place payouts and get a shot at $1,000,000.

What is the Prize Purse Payout?

For each player that registers, $70 is applied to the TOUR season prize purse with the following payouts for end of year Scoring Average (Gross and Net):

  • 1st thru 5th Places* = 50% of purse (with payouts based on finishing position in the year end TOUR Championship)

  • 10th Place = 10% of purse

  • 20th Place = 10% of purse

  • 30th Place = 10% of purse

  • 40th Place = 10% of purse

  • 50th Place = 10% of purse

*Clarification: The lowest 5 Gross & Net finishers receive a free entry into the season ending TOUR Championship on Saturday, October 5 @ Emerald Greens GC where golfers will go head-to-head (for score verification) and where placement (Gross and Net) will determine final prize payouts. This payout system for the top 5 finishers helps prevent any motivation for people to post lower than actual scores during their regular season TOUR rounds.

Example: 100 players = $7,000 prize purse = with 1/2 the prize purse for the GROSS final placement and 1/2 the prize purse for NET final scoring average. For the TOUR Championship head-to-head match, payouts for finishers will be 30% for 1st, 25% for 2nd, 20% for 3rd, 15% for 4th and 10% for 5th. The NET division for the TOUR Championship will be a TOUR handicap based solely on the 12 TOUR rounds played.

A3. Age 59 and under will play the tees that are between 6200-6500 yards. Age 60+ play tees that are between 5900-6200 yards. Consult the golf course scorecard for which tees to play week to week.
