We are turning the 17th hole at Stillwater Oaks GC into a Long Drive grid to find the Twin Cities’ longest hitters.
When Is It?
Qualifying Rounds:
August 26, 2017 from 7-10 am
September 2, 2017 from 7-10am
Finals:
September 9th from 7-10am
Fee:
$20 for 6 balls (contestants may purchase multiple attempts)
How Does It Work?
- RSVP a spot by filling out the form below.
- Show up for the Qualifying Round (pay the day of)
- The top contestants at each qualifying round advance to the Finals
Prizes?
- Custom made belt buckle to the winner
- $500 VISA card to the winner plus $500 pro-shop credit will be divided among competitors at the finals
- All contestants receive a $10 gift certificate to TwinCitiesGolf.com
FAQ
- As in the World Long drive, all drivers must conform to USGA Specs. There is a USGA limit on length, but not on the loft of the golf club. You can swing up to a 48″ driver in this competition.

TwinCitiesGolf will be creating & filming a new local golf reality show called “Birdies, Burgers & Brews” where we will highlight in different cities in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin the best golf course, burger joint & brewery/pub/local beers.
Everyone is welcomed to apply to be on the show & 4 people per episode will be treated to a day of great golf, dining at the best burger places on the planet & beer sampling.
Those selected will spend a day with the film crew golfing, eating at the best local burger places, sampling beer and experiencing the best that city has to offer.
