The Greens NFT Club is a NFT project that consists of unique photographs of local & iconic golf courses that include The Greens NFT Club logo. Owning a NFT from TGNC also gives you access to value-added member perks like free golf & discounts on golf-related products, services & merchandise. You’ll receive invites to exclusive & bucket list, owner-only golf events with new perks continually added over time. When you purchase an NFT from The Greens NFT Club, you are also joining a community of worldwide golf enthusiasts committed to the art of having fun, investing in their future, creating memorable experiences & putting a little white ball into a small hole with as few strokes as possible.
2022 April 20 Update:
We are THRILLED to announce our Greens NFT Club has been selected by Coinbase (out of millions of applicants) to participate in the invite-only beta release of Coinbase NFT! This validates our mission of becoming the first golf-related NFT company to be featured on Coinbase NFT. Big things about to happen!
WHAT IS a nft?
“An NFT (non-fungible token) is a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a blockchain (a form of digital ledger) that can be sold and traded. Types of NFT data units may be associated with digital files such as photos, videos, and audio.” Source: Wikipedia
The NFTs available from TGNC will be limited edition, custom-created art in the form of digital photo files featuring local & iconic golf courses from around the world. Most NFT’s will also include a canvas print of your digital photo that will be worthy of hanging in your mancave or (if single) your bedroom or living room. And because our NFTs are transacted & stored on the blockchain, authenticity is perpetually verifiable for life long value.
Companies like the NFL, Nike, Taco Bell, Twitter are all offering NFTs as a way to offer exclusive benefits to their customers. Here are some examples of some popular NFT’s:
how much is a TGNC nft?
The price for a TGNC NFT will begin at just $100 for limited edition prints and range up to $25,000 for the ultra-rare NFTs with once-in-a-lifetime perks included. If everything goes as planned, one day you may even have the opportunity to tee it up with a PGA or LPGA TOUR player as a perk of buying an NFT! Each price level will include unique value-added benefits that will be specific to each offering. With all of our NFT offerings, you will quickly be able to calculate the value of your TGGC NFT. If you are a visionary (bought Bitcoin in 2010 or sold your GameStop stock before it fell off a cliff), you will lose sleep over the potential opportunity with NFTs and being part of the world’s first NFT golf club of this kind. If you don’t really understand how NFTs, cryptocurrency, or “digital art” works, it’s OK…. how do you buy a nft?
Digital-art NFTs are mostly sold on specialized online marketplaces like Zora, Rarible & Opensea. Coinbase NFT, a peer-to-peer marketplace that will make minting, purchasing, showcasing, and discovering NFTs easier is expected to launch in 2022. To buy NFT, you need cryptocurrency like Ethereum or Bitcoin which can be purchased through many sources including Robinhood or Coinbase.com. Coinbase (the company who ran the 2022 Superbowl commercial) is the world’s most popular and user-friendly company for buying/trading cryptocurrency and (coming soon) NFTs. Our goal is to have The Greens NFT Club be the FIRST golf-related NFT company on the Coinbase NFT store.
what else is coming?
We will begin by offering NFTs from several local golf courses to show everyone how all this works, test the response, and show how easy, rewarding, and fun it is to be a part of The Greens NFT Club. We will then add more NFTs from other local courses, start featuring more rare and iconic courses, partner with local & national brands to bring you additional exclusive NFTs, and eventually even replicate existing & build new courses in the Metaverse. Early TGGC members (those who purchase a NFT) will provide feedback and get exclusive access + perks to all new offerings and this new golf Metaverse while always continuing to get plenty of “real world” benefits. We will also host TGNC golf tournaments & bucket-list golf trips to the best destinations on the planet with special pricing only for TGNC NFT holders.
when will the nft’s be available?
This is a ground floor opportunity - powered by a team with decades of successful internet & golf business experience - with planned launch in 2022 at which time all details, perks and NFT artwork will be visible and available for purchase. Joining the Wait List is not a commitment (and there is no cost), it’s simply a way to say “You’ve peaked my interest” and to learn more as we roll out the program. We will be teaching our followers along the way how this entire process works so you can learn and enjoy this exciting journey!
